Getting your money back

The policy

You can ask for a refund within 7 days of buying, and you do not have to give a reason. Ask either way you like: write to [email protected], or take the request to our payment provider, which took the payment.

Billed by ExamPrep; your statement will show EXAMPREP. That is the seller of record behind LBExam, so a statement line you do not recognize is very likely this one. Ask here before raising it with your bank; the last section on this page says why that is worth doing.

After 7 days, ask anyway if something has gone wrong. A window is what is promised, not the only thing that will ever be done.

How to ask

• Write from the address on the account, so it can be found.
• Say roughly when you bought it. The order number is on the emailed receipt, and it makes this quicker without being required.
• A reason is welcome, and never required. Inside the window it changes nothing anyway.

After you ask

A person reads it. Inside the window the answer is yes, and the refund is issued once it has been read. There is no review to pass and nothing to justify.

Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within a few working days. Nothing is deducted.

The tax that was added on top of the 149 USD comes back with it, because the same seller of record that charged it is the one returning it.

Who actually sends the money back

The merchant of record for this site is our payment provider, under the seller name ExamPrep. The refund is issued from there, which is why it can only go back to the card or account that paid.

What happens to your account

A refund closes your access to the paid bank straight away.

The free half stays open. Your answers, your scores and your sitting date all stay where they are, and the account is not deleted, so if you buy again later everything you did in the meantime is still there.

When we refund

Bought it twice by accident, bought the wrong thing, or it is not working for you and you have barely used it: write in and you get the money back. Failing the exam is refunded too. Inside the window that is the same request as any other. After it, the pass guarantee below is the route, and it has conditions of its own.

Copying the question bank out of the site and then asking for the money back is the one case that is refused.

The pass guarantee

Study here, sit the exam, and if you fail it, the purchase is refunded in full. Three things have to be true, and they are all of them:

1. Complete three full timed mocks in your account.
2. Sit the real exam within 90 days of buying.
3. Failed? Send the score report within 30 days of the exam date. Refunded in full.

The three mocks are read off your account, so there is nothing to send for that half. A mock that was abandoned rather than finished does not count.

The score report is the one thing to send. Write to [email protected] from the address on the account, within 30 days of the date on the report, and attach it or paste what it says. A person reads it and the refund is issued the same way every other refund on this page is: back to the card that paid, tax included, nothing deducted.

One claim per purchase. A refunded purchase closes the paid bank the way any other refund does, and the free half stays open. Buying again later is a new purchase and a new claim.

Nothing else is asked. No minimum number of questions answered before the three mocks, no time to serve, and no reason to give.

Chargebacks

It is worth writing here first. A chargeback raised without asking costs this site a fee and takes weeks to settle, and there is nothing it can get you that an email cannot get you faster.

A chargeback closes the paid bank the same way a refund does, and by the same automatic path, as soon as it reaches this site. If it is later settled in the seller's favor, the unlock comes back on its own.
